Steven Golliday

Currently working as assistant editor on the film adaptation of Andrew Solomon's best-selling book Far from the Tree, Steven Golliday joined Ark Media in 2013 on the award-winning PBS series The African Americans: Many Rivers to Cross.  Steven's career in documentary began when he was awarded the Gelman Travel Fellowship in 2008, enabling a trip to Panama, where he created the film There Are No Shortcuts and collaborated with local artists and musicians on a number of video projects.  A Los Angeles native and graduate of CalArts, Steven's foundation is conceptual art and critical theory.  He lives in Brooklyn, where he enjoys making music, reading, and talking his wife's ear off about the day's Brian Lehrer show.
