Steven Golliday joined Ark Media in 2013 on the award-winning PBS series The African Americans: Many Rivers to Cross. Most recently, he co-edited Ark's upcoming film adaptation of Andrew Solomon's best-selling book Far from the Tree and is currently editing a film for HBO. Steven's career in documentary began when he was awarded the Gelman Travel Fellowship in 2008, enabling a trip to Panama, where he created the film There Are No Shortcuts and collaborated with local artists and musicians on a number of video projects. A Los Angeles native and graduate of CalArts, Steven's foundation is conceptual art and critical theory. He lives with his wife in Brooklyn, NY.
