Nailah Sims has worked in television and documentary film for 9 years in NYC and Chicago. Her credits range from daytime shows such as The Oprah Winfrey Show and Anderson Live (with Anderson Cooper), to television docu-series such as Death Row Stories for CNN and Barbara Walters Presents American Scandals for Discovery and tru-Inside for Tru-TV, to music news on FUSE TV. Recently she co-produced the feature documentary 15 Septembers Later for The History Channel, and was the booking producer for James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction for AMC. Over the years she’s also helped produce various independent documentary films, including I am Evidence, executive produced by Mariska Hargitay, which is set to air on HBO. She has a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Missouri. She residents in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn.
